A discussion in the DJ Booth has prompted me to post this poll:
What is the proper way to pronounce "Technics", as in the Technics 1200 turntable. |

| If they wanted it pronounced Tek-neeks, why didn't they just spell it Techniques? At any rate I call them 1200s :) |

hollee man how can so many people be wrong?
Its Tech-neeks as in technique.
Surprised?
HERE is where you'll find out the truth - unless you're japanese ignore the interviews from dj krush and dj hide but the ones by both Q-Tip and DJ Kool Herc clearly say "teckneeks".
Whatever continue saying it as you want to, just telling it like it is. |
