I've listened to a couple mixes by Johan Gielen. Typically very good stuff, well mixed. Not a lot of harder trance like he produces with Svenson. A bit mellower and more melodic, but still supremely dance-worthy.

I agree w/ Trance Energy, but also check out Mysteryland 2002 (or 2001).

Sometimes he goes a bit cheesy for my tastes, but generally i think he's great. The early Trance Energy set of 2002 shows exactly what he is capable of

ok I used to like some Svenson & Gielen tracks, but to be honest, I don't know about the states, but Johan Gielen is kind of a DJ joke here in Holland!! Not as bad as DJ Jean, but up there near him for sure.....

I agree , Gielen is THE man . One of my all time favorite DJs . I love his past Trance Energy sets and the set he played on Sensation White 2003 was also very good :toocool:
Mika
