so whats your two nightmare records? i mean two that u mixed together before and they just didnt go or they were really hard to mix, that led to you never playing them one after another again?

i just had a bad one trying to mix

ocean lab - clear blue water (ferry remix) (incoming record)

into

coast to coast - searching. (outgoing record)

it sucked so much.i now think im gona throw clear blue water away im so pissed off with it, and its well short with a massive breakdown so it was hard mixing the next song as well. only got it today :-S

so whats yours?
big dave
rui da silva - touch me

exact same reason the start of the song is very short

it starts with vocals and then theres what i think is a short beat into the 1st breakdown!

apart from that a massive tune!

hey big dave, listen to the cd progression out on rennisence label, and hear how touch me is mixed... it is being mixed into a track which is in key with it (jakata - american life) and the mix is very short but is very pleasing and good sounding. you should listen to it and learn how to mix that beautiful track...

good luck!
Omegasox
Mixing Gus Gus - Purple [Sasha v The Light mix] with anything is a pain for me. :(
