Australian lost in NYC

hey guys! I'm 19 years old and from Australia and on the 24th of August I'll be arriving in NYC to party it hard - the only thing is I don't know which places are good to go to?
I'm mostly into trance, techno and hardhouse... and will be looking to stay in Manhatten when going out in the night. I've heard the "Roxy" is good?
Could anyone else tell me what other clubs I should check out? On the 28th of Aug I will indeed be in Central Park for the God of trance PVD! I can't wait for that one especially, looks like a lot of TA'ers will be going - is there any place we can go to meet or any way of knowing you're from the forums?

| roxy doesnt really have any edm nights anymore. too bad you wont be here the 23rd for NuNRG at arc. if you like techno you shoudl check out tronic but you have to be 21 to get in there. there is so much to do on weeknights but you really need to be 21 or have a fake ID. |

Welcome to nyc...well an early welcome :)
Arc(www.arcspace.net) is a good palce, and its 18+ and no dress code...they have international talent(prog/house,techno,trance djs) on most saturdays
Roxy is ok, they are bringing back their friday party...seXy @ roXy, but most of the crowd is not there for the music but to meet people and "hook up", and they have a dress code.
Tronic treatment are on mondays but its 21+...good for techno and its usually 5$ cover charge.
But just keep checking up on the forums most info parties will be posted
and yes we will have a big meet up(lots of people are comming out) before PvD @ central park so you can meet and greet the NYTAs:D but we havent picked a time place yet since we got some time before AUG 28 comes around ...but ill be there early

Techsta: Enjoy your stay in NYC. Hope you have as much fun here as we do. :)
Your age is going to present a minor problem, though. Most clubs here are 21 and over and are very hard on IDs. Stick with ARC on Friday and Saturday and you'll be fine (since that night is 18 and over). It won't be much of a sacrifice either since ARC has the best music in NYC.
Is there any way you can make it to NYC on Saturday, August 23rd? That night, NU-NRG will be performing at ARC. The TA's should all be there for that night, and it would be great for you to meet us then. If not, Roxxia's party on Sunday nights should be packed by then ;), you could meet us there.
Clubs you should avoid like the plague: Exit, Sound Factory, Webster Hall.
Once again, enjoy NYC! :D
