My last connection with the Winnipeg Jets has left after 15 years with the team (Phoenix)
Numminen leaves as the franchise's leader in games played (1,098), and ranks first among defensemen in team history in goals (108), assists (426) and points (534). Among all players in franchise history, he's third in career assists and fourth in points. Not to mention was voted sexiest man in Finland. :rofl:
Traded to Dallas in a three way deal... I'm bummed out. I knew he'd never win in Phoenix...but he was an "actual" Franchise Player. I hope he wins a cup, but I was hoping Colorado would pick him up, since I feel they have a better team than Dallas.
Oh well...just venting some depression. |

| Haha, Dallas trying to get some defensemen back after losing Hatcher to the Red Wings, unfortunetly, and I've always liked Teppo, but he won't be enough for the loss Hatcher left behind! |
