Ferry Corsten - Mixed Live... opinions

| I knew I wanted this CD when it came out. The only place that had it was best buy which was down the interstate 20 mins away. So I decided it would be worth it and went & bought it, 14.99 for both the CD & 5.1 DVD. Wow.. how worth the gas, time, & money. It is totally awesome.. totally awesome. I don't like the last few, harder/faster/techier tracks that much though (the ones after punk, although the final track is awesome). Can't wait to listen to it on my dvd player w/my very good surround system. Anyone else have it, if so what are your opinions? |

| I like it, the tracks are a little old but it's still good. When Ferry cuts out Punk and the crowd chants along...:eek: that's absolutely amazing. It's good to see on the dvd, he's so into the set. And actually I like Massif-Understatement, which is right after Punk, but after that he kinda plays some tracks which don't seem to be his style. Up until then though I like it alot. |

This is in good..having witnessed Ferry live less than a month ago myself the crowd indeed loves him and especially gets vocal to Punk wherever he plays, it's also a great idea to capture the live crowd responce from a club and deliver it right to your home stereo or wherever you could be listening...Most of the live sets out there haven't got a CD quality like this one so listening to a live set with a crisp sound quaity is awesome.
More DJs should do that! |

Heh ... havn't heard this one yet ... but the mention of crowd chants and great tracks brings Magik 6 to mind :D |
