You my friend, are very naive if you think democrats are above it all or are any better . And you're also the first person to bring partisan politics into the discussion.
For example, should we even begin to touch upon the democrat slander campaign and interference in the Republican primaries to ensure that the stronger candidate, Riordan, did not win so Davies could ultimately win the election, hmmmm? Now what do I know about politics, but that seems pretty dirty. |
im not trying to state that democrats are any better, because i believe that they are both horrible, but i just tend to agree less with republican actions |

umm...okay. the republican-sponsered gubernatorial recall election is gonna cost the state of california over $30,000,000 at a time when the state has a deficit of over $3,000,000,000. they have to make ballots in 7 different languages. just to get a democrat out of office early. who's ridiculous now?

I'm not so sure it's just Republicans who want Gray Davis out of office. California is a predominately Democratically carried state and polls show that a majority of Californians want him out of office. And the state's $3,000,000,000 budget deficit is largely due to Gray Davis' own poor decisions made while in office to "solve" the state's energy crisis in 2001. Californians in general would like for Mr. Davis to be recalled, but they don't have a good enough alternative, so it's becoming a lose-lose situation. I mean Arnold Schwarzenegger??? Come on. |

never said it was just republicans, just that it is sponsored largly by the republican party. and yes, davis has made some bad choices and contributed to the deficit, but i mean...wasting 3 million dollars on a vote that might not even change anything seems a little ridiculous to me. just to end the term early. and omg i know. i feel soooo sorry for california if arnold schwarzenegger is elected, much less labeled as an official candidate. |

bring on arnold for all i care
the truth is that the budget crisis isnt primarily davis's fault at all and everyone is just scapegoating
whoever the hell you elect into the governors office is just gonna do an equally crappy job if this recall goes thru
the state of california is in quite a pickle and no stupid recall election is gonna make the big problems go away
so why the hell not get arnold swarzenegger in the office
its too late to not do a recall
at least if everything goes down the hole and all our schools end up having kids sit on broken chairs reading books about the evil communist USSR
we can blame it on the terminator |

| Just like to say that this recall vote is nothing new. I believe it has been attempted for every single gubenatorial candidate in California ************ of being democratic or republican. This is the only time it has ever succeeded, however. And the recall vote wasn't funded by the republican party so much as it was funded by one independantly wealthy guy who made millions in the car alarm business. |
