Ugh. Nothing like alcohol to stir the juices and blur the perception. :-/
Similar thing happened to me a while back. I was very, very drunk (which is how all the good stories begin, right?) at this club/pub thing on a Wednesday night, dancing with a mate to some horrible poppy stuff (because we were very, very drunk - did I mention that?) when a couple of girls started dancing next to us. I knew we were in - and this is where I made my first mistake - I said to my mate "choose one and I'll take the other one". Now I cannot stress this enough: no matter how ing drunk you are, NEVER give your mates the power of shotgun. They'll take the better looking one and - well - you've got a dilema on your hands. Anyway, some deeds were committed - I didn't even have sex with her (although we did end up back at their place - long, interesting story :rolleyes: ) - and I've never been able to live it down. So basically, Dave, I know what you're going through.
Only advice I can give is to pull someone really nice in the near future and tell your friends where to shove it. Not sure there's any other solution to be honest, but if you find one let me know - I'm getting sick of having fat chicks pointed out to me and being asked "what's the matter Jimmy? Not fat enough for you"? :rolleyes: |

dude, everyone's got feelins, ii respect the feelins of everyone, but the thing is, i have feelins too, she saw me passed out on a bench and took advantage of me then told everybody. This happened on tuesday night, i went up the town tonight and was welcomed with about 20 people cheering / laughing at me. it's not in funny. There's a music festival on at the minute and i'm dredding going down to it. I was actually relieved tonight when i got off with so little.
I have no sympathy for her, she went and told in everybody and now i'm gettin laughed at for her bein who she is. I'm bein laughed at for bein with her, the joke's on her. (me too i guess)
this aint the same, ok if i did some minger and then i got laughed at fair enough. i'll take my oil. but for sake this kind of behaviour is not on. what the must be going through her head.
it, it'll pass, it always does. been there before, promised myself never to go back, but that cursed drug alcohol always gets the better of me in the end. i was asleep on a bench. she saw the opportunity, she did the EXACT same thing to another friend of mine on Sunday night, a mean conniving little mental whore is all she is!

These "don't touch the ugly ones" sentiments are indicators of a) disrespect for other people's emotions, b) a low maturity level, c) brain cells so slack they can't fathom the social ramifications of this ritualistic, mideval clique-ism and d) you're so insecure you'll stay home over a few cheap laughs?? Get some backbone and get over it!
Granted, some of you meant it tongue-in-cheek, but too many actually think like this.
