2 years ago i realized I had potential, but I'll be going to the school anyways cuz I want to learn more and use their sweet studios

that sound recording school in Manchester seems perfect.. except for the fact that its in England.. I would love to live in England for 6 months but i dunno about that tho.. about Full Sail. would i be able to get the same courses such as dance music production specifically for music such as trance and house? like at the manchester school?
i guess Audiotronics would be a course to take at full sail?
anyway i did the "request info" part on their site so maybe ill get some more info about them..
took me a couple minutes to actually find out where the place is. Orlando Florida. not bad |

| to be bruttally honest, i think most producers got where they are on raw talent and interest in the music, rather than some ty course. |

Creativity cannot be taught in a school.
You can be as technically perfect as possible but if you make music you make music... it'd just sound better quality wise.
There are loads of producers right here who have learned everything by themselves by experimenting and trying different things and are now getting signed and getting records out.
Trying to learn to be a good musician in a school is just silly. |

yes, being in a school doesn't make you a good musician necessarily, but you'd take a lot more time trying to find out little producing tricks by yourself, and finding the path through complicated software and hardware, than if you were taught how to. |

Obviously. However, I would be pretty safe to assume (I haven't checked the sites) that those schools cost quite a lot. When you're learning by yourself it'll mostly cost you the amount the gear you buy AND every time you're stuck you can come here and ask for help and you'll most likely get it... and there are loads of tutorials and books to read etc.
And need I even say how much more rewarding it is when you figure out something by yourself rather than have someone teach it to you... |
