Hi folks,

Some of you may remember me posting a while back regarding a new site I was working on. This site may interest some of you. I apologize if this is in the wrong thread.

The site I just designed, www.djunderground.com, is an online community similar to TranceAddict, but focuses on all types of electronic music. The main focus of the site is for people to download or stream mixes and/or tracks you have produced in 128kbps mp3 format. Users can rate any file on the site, as well as post comments and check out what's going on in the San Francisco Bay Area nightlife.

Anybody can sign up for free to download music, check out the calendar of events, post messages on the forum, and check out pictures from parties users have submitted. If users want to add their music to the site, there is a $5 a month charge for premium accounts. That's less than half the price of one record.

Currently the site is geared towards the San Francisco Bay Area music scene, but please don't think of this as a limitation. It's a great way for people to hear your music, especially when you get 200mb of storage for $5 a month to upload your own mixes or songs you have produced. Plans of catering to people outside the Bay Area is definately what I would like to move towards, but only if there is interest and a lot of participation from users that visit the site.

Also if some of you are interested in writing reviews of clubs you have been to, raves you have gone to, hardware/software reviews, or electronic industry news, I'd be interested in speaking with you. Please email me at [email protected].

Just thought some of you might be interested in this. Thanks for reading this, and I hope to see you on www.djunderground.com!
