I have a disc master 2 cartridge with a needle that needs replacing. I need to buy another cartridge for my other deck. If I'll be just Djing in my room (and maybe small house parties later on) should I buy another Disc Master 2 cartridge for my other deck, or should I just buy 2 new ortofon nightclub needles? I don't want to wear my records and I'm a newbie when it comes to mixing etc. So do the disc master 2s create tolerable sound for a bedroom dj? cuz I don't feel like spending 300+ $ on a couple needles, especially if they wear the records more than others

EDIT: I just remembered I can get a good deal on Shure M44-7 needles, I hear they're good for scratching but how aobut mixing trance? Because that's all I want to do really. Thanks |
