tsk tsk tsk. This is not the way to deal with the problem(or any) but for fun, lets deal with the problem of too much laundry lying around. the way to deal with it, is do laundry. The US govt way of doing it. Arrest anyone who wears clothes.
Vicks I can see, Masks(if vicks r gone, then what is the problem with them?) and well..pacifiers are kinda grey, cuz I see of no purpose other than saving your teeth...so hell..appease the govt. But GLOWSTICKS! in glowstix? how on earth are they drug paraphanlia? They look cool when u r rollin? WELl they look cool either way! grr... Way to flex your power govt. Somebody in Florida should get a protest. Get a bunch of ppl in the middle of the day to stand outside a police station and wear masks(no vicks tho) the white gloves and glowsticks. Go nuts. Make yourselves look as raver like as you can. grrr... Im very glad im not an American right now

ummm...just wanted to point out that this took place in new orleans in a local court. so all you peeps bashing gw bush better learn something about our government....gw has nothing to do with law making like this...and this was done in the local state court not a national court...such as the supreme court so he has nothing to do with this. and even if this went to the supreme court to become a national thing he still would have nothing to do with it....it would then fall into the hands of the supreme court justices. all this article is saying is that this is a trend among local courts and could become a national thing. don't blame gw...he has nothing to do with it. blame the judges and who hand down these laws! And remember to vote...yeah your thinking what does it matter....but if you don't vote then you got no right to complain....and what about writing to your representatives in congress....all states have 2 senators and numerous reps. send them a line and tell them what you think instead of bitching on the board.

Finally... I think the best way to deal with the drug problem is to legalize some drugs or not be so strict about it, like they do in Holland... Look, in Holland they have fewer drug-abuse problems, teenage pregnancies, etc., and they're much more open about all these issues!

Thats the way I feel about this... We need to open up to the culture instead of repressing it... Besides, If they legalize XTC, they could put a tax on it, and make more money, and boost the economy... Damn... I think I should become a senator, and teach these people that everything they do is wrong...

omg... they're taking away chill out rooms, bottled water and air conditioning in an attempt to stop people taking drugs?!? do they want people to die or something?? no matter what they do, the drugs will still be there, this is the exact opposite of what should be happening!!

Somebody needs to assassinate George Dubbya Bush before he s america up for good. (I'm not american.. can I still get the death penalty for saying that?.. I don't care)
i live in usa, and i agree w/u, bush isa c*ck sucker!

Thats true, I agree, in germany, you can drink beer and go to Clubs at 16, Holland, they allow you to go into a rave with no more of certain amount of pills and so on...
There's a problem why I do not agree with it, but here in the states, the big problem is the socity in wich the states is composed of, if laws were changed, people will be immature enough that we will be seeing 100 peeps drop dead once the law of letting XTC flow , I live in the USA, and let me tell you, here people are immature , they dont take things like they do in Europe as a whole, we american TA's are like the only mature ones ;) ... States is just not ready for it, thats the thing, but if the law is passed, maybe at the beggining it will be causing trouble, but when new generations of kids are born with the law , they will make the difference in the future.

Well, it's just one more example of how ed up the American government is. As usual, they take everything to the extreme. There's so much to this article that I could comment on but I would be here a week writing it all. So I'll just say....yeah, go ahead and make pacifiers illegal, you anal retentive dumb s! And when you do, you better make sure that the law applies to everybody.....including babies. If ravers can be arrested for possession of a pacifier...then babies should be arrested too!

Umm, I have to agree with Twilochik here, This has nothing to do with the PRESIDENT, You live in the country, try learning how its run. I'm orignally from New Orleans where all this kicked off, its local politicans making these rulings, Nothing at all to do with the country as a whole. Twilo was shut down recently and that had absolutly nothing to do with the country as a whole or the President, its the local mayor setting rules on how they want their cities run. And guess what its not national elections or even the President that appoints these Mayors, its you, your families and your friends, there all local elections!!! If you don't like the policy set forth by that political figure then during the next election don't vote for them, and encourage other people not to vote for them, its as simple as that. Choose or lose is one of the most profound statements out there and now that something you care about is being affected by politics it amazing how many people wanna do something about it or get involved, you should have been involved from the time you were able to vote. And to all you Americans who are bashing the United States your really starting to piss me off, You don't even realize that what your saying about the U.S is exactly what makes the U.S. the greatest country in the world. Not many other countries will tolerate the slander and verbal threats on it's political figures, but being and American gives you that right to express your veiw without retribution. Try reading the Constitution and your Bill of rights
