| If I wiped every speck of kazaa off of my computer , am i safe from any lawsuit the GOD DAMNED RIAA could throw at me (and my FAMILY)? or can i still get slammed into poverty? |

| If you didn't share much there's no harm. They're going for the big ones that share gigs and gigs of music first. Id doubt they'll spend time suing people who share like 50 songs or something. |

Actually they busted one kid who had like 8 songs on his computer. They're going after everyone.

You should be okay. As long as you're not actively filesharing the RIAA cannot scan your computer without your knowledge, as that is a breech of privacy. They'd have to tell you, or have a search warrant taken out. Either way, as long as you NEVER use Kazaa again, and you completely erase all of it from your computer, you're okay.
BTW: just to be on the safe side, you should scan your entire computer for any parts of kazaa, because lots of programs archive themselves in your system, or they have files in your system directories. So do a search using keywords like Kazaa, or KMD (kazaa media desktop), etc. |

Should you erase Kazza too? How can they care if you use that? I didn't even share anything when I used Kazaa...heh
If they sue me, I'll try to get help from the ACLU. The EDM scene would be dead without mp3s. |

| Hehe no they cant get you out side of the us, and aso if your going to be deleting these files you better download a program that erases them completley couse just deleting them still leaves a record on your system need more info drop me a line... |
