Why do the Toronto and surrounding area guys get ed on the TA meetups? Armin has met guys in Montreal and in Vancouver (or will soon...I forget when he's playing there) and even Ferry has met everybody in Montreal. Why don't they want to meet us?
I guess asking Tiesto to do a TA meetup would be out of the question these days eh?:( |

I'm pretty sure we will get to have a meet up. They just weren't in twon for us to actually organize one. I'm sure everything will be set up when the opportunity comes. |

that's true.....but Ferry did a TA meetup for Montreal on March 7th but not for Toronto the next day, which I find wierd. Armin was just in Toronto in April.....is it because nobody has made the arrangements or initiated anything?
About Tiesto....do any of you seriously think he'll do a TA meetup? It's 90% guys that show up at these things...I don't know if you guys pay attention to him or try to get backstage as I have done three times now, but he's far more interested in his female fans.:rolleyes: |

wait a second there, WE organized the meet up and Ferry showed up, you describe it as if Corsten organized it for us monterealers and then snubbed you guys in TO.
YOU guys should stop talking and start acting, because it won't happen by itself. |

they never came to a TOTA meetup cuz a TOTA meetup wasn't orgnanized. Their agents don't just organize tranceaddict meetings in the different cities they tour. It's the tranceaddicts themselves in those respective cities doing it. We only have ourselves to blame for missing out on so many opportunities. And it's not like these guys have never been here before. Check out the Master List to see how many chances we had with so many great DJ's. Like Malek said; Actions > Words .. |

I never said he (or Armin) snubbed us. I was just inquiring as to why a Toronto TA meetup hasn't happened with any of the big boys yet. I never even knew of any TA meetups until I saw the reviews. It just seems Toronto always kinda gets screwed....PvD cancels and never plays here, no Dj TA meetups yet, etc. I actually was lucky to get up on stage with Ferry for a few hours and he signed some of my stuff and I even chatted with him about trance, Holland, Gouryella and Tiesto, as well as Canada for a bit.
Anyway, what I'm basically saying is that we Toronto and surrounding area people should get our asses in gear and meet up with Ferry and Armin (and Tiesto if he'll do it, though I highly doubt it) next time they're in town. If they'll do it in Montreal and Vancouver, why not Toronto? We just have to ASK!!:) |
