wow, what an incredible night, orkidea was amazing.
i gotta say i loved the club since there was a lot of room to dance with people who really enjoyed the music.
nice meeting mako and samhouse, and seeing a few other ta's again..diginut, tatgirl (thx for pic btw), and some others i cant remember. |

I had a great time last night. Great seeing everybody, the regulars plus a few more people I met. Because of the TA presence the vibe was great, it seemed most of the people there were from TA! Pretty cool. Everybody was having a lot of fun. Everybody was there to enjoy the music and have a dance.
Came with my friend Kris, whome I just picked up from the airport that evening. He came in from BC and is visiting for a week. Great to party with that guy cuz he introduced me to the music and parties in the first place.
The tracks were great too. He really did the progression nicely. Started with a quirky sounding almost electroish track (never heard it before) and moved into some driving house tracks and picked up the pace with an increasing frenzy of rhythm and bass (One notable track was Eddie Amadour - House Music (Filterheadz remix)). Next thing I knew we were nailed with some crazy breakbeat (I must comment on how this was mixed flawlessly) and here Kris said to me "it's trance from here on" and so it was....we were taken off with loads of older and newer trancers like Goldscan - Sunrise..that song made me go nuts.
Too bad the cd skipped on "As the rush comes" That and the other skipping cd were the biggest downers of the night.
Orkidea seemed really cool. I asked Kris the name of a track and he was like "I'll go find out" next thing I new he was chillin behind the decks watching orkidea mix for ages! Pretty cool for letting him do that.
Great party, great music, great vibe...can't wait to come out again.

K, now that i am in a better state, review:
Got into the club at 10:30 with samhouse, resnick and a friend. Were the only 4 people there...:haha:, then we had to go back out to take care of something, (parking problems :whip:) but when we got back, the amount of people improved. Opening Dj was great, though the sound was a bit muffled, nonetheless a good set, loved the tribal and prog. Then came the highlight of the night. ORKIDEA. holy he rocked! :eek:
Started out with some nice prog then eventually surprised us with breaks, then went on with some prog trance, then boom, surprised me again by dropping some psy trance :eyespop: that's when i went nuts :toothless loved every minute of it. After the psy he went through a mixture of some trance and some harder stuff. Overall a really good set, even though there were problems with the scratched cd's oh well, he made up for it. :D
Big ups to the TA's I met
Samhouse: A long 11 months since we last partied, good to see you again buddy.
Resnick: Nice meeting you before, had a wicked time chilling with you.
Tha_broad: GIIINAAAAA :toothless , i finally proved my unginoness :disbelief (can't say geeve right) :P
Diginut: was nice meeting you :D. ps: read the comment to tha_broad.
Tatgirl: was really nice meeting you as well, didn't talk much but oh well :D. Thanks for taking those pics :)
Stereoprincess: Met you after the show was done, thank god i didn't mistaken you for someone else eh? :P

Ok ive decided that Im not going to fight the Gina thing....Ill let it fly...you'll all get tired of it eventually...anyways....
Got there early...very early....nobody else was there but good music was playin so it was cool....chilled, drank...got in no problem..guest list was covered so we didnt have to pay cover...
Didnt recognize anybody ('cept Del) till later...but I got to meet more TA's (Diginut, Drewfactor, Ukranianstud, Timetoburn, Erika (forgot your ta name), Mako, Resnick, Samhouse, Maxtuh, the two BIGGEST GINOS EVER AKA Hardcore Trancer and Dj Hordash) lol if theres any I forgot...sorry...
Good to see those I have met again (E2EK1AL, tatgirl, Endlesswave, Stereo Princess)
Cant forget the Swamps himself .YOUR ALWAYS SMILING! iI LOVE IT!!!!..hehehe ;);)...an his friend Jeff (Geoff?)nice to meet u man!
Im sure I'm missing somebody.. but you'll get over it....
I danced my ASS off all night..
Mad props to my roommate who FINALLY registered here on TA as smilin_jack_03 or something like that...your dancing always amazes me.... (how do you do it???)
All in all it was a wikkid night.even when the string on my shirt snapped..thank god for my other one...I had a blast...and I thank god it was on a thursday or I woulda missed it...
