| Ok this stupid thing is pissing me off. What the heck is it? I just got a new computer and Windows XP for the first time and there are still some obvious "Bugs" in the set up. When ever I'm on the DCH**, after being on for a little bit, I get an error message for either .NEt Framework 1.1 or Direct Connect saying pretty much the exact same thing, namely "An unhandled error has occurred" and then in the details it says something about reference object set to zero and that it can't be. This is really pissing me off because I can't leave to computer on because I keep getting these error messages. It hasn't done it in a while. I will post the exact message when it pops up. |

| .net framework can be downloaded from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com its basically a set of programing libaries used by some programers, not all software needs it, if your geting errors about it you more than likley need it. (i also think its possible to install it from the windows xp cd to, but the version on windows update will have any security fixes applied to it) |

Ok this is the error. This time its for Microsoft .NET Framework. Top says "An unhandled exception has occurred in your application"
The details say this:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog. |
