Sampler In Cubase?

Is there a sampler in cubase kinda like theres a n19 in reason?


i tried halion but i cant get it to work right with wav files

I use Kontakt from native instruments and have no problems with it. It's extremely powerful I think and can handle lots of samples at the same time.

Halion is a great sampler once you have farted around with it and get to know how :)

Yups, Halion (version 2 preferably) and even better Kontakt are excellent softsamplers (soon to be joined by Motu's Mach5), but you need to learn them a bit first (I have PDF manuals if you're interested -> PM).

It's best you combine it with a prog like CDXtract or Chickensys translator. Some original sampler cd's (in Akai or Emu format) are a pain in the ass for being recognised by the softsamplers. Those translation programs are really handy for that as they are generally more lenient about compatibility.
