I am definitely NOT talking about clubs here! Maybe you haven't heard about it yet..but here in Hollnad...we have BIIIIIIIG parties for thousands and thousands of people...these people mostly go to all big parties...hence the confusion when he plays the same set for a period of 1 year...it is not like he plays it in one lil' club in Rotterdam and then one lil' club in Winschoten (eh..wtf???:D)...he knows he has a one on one chance that the same peeps will visit his set again..so why doesn't he make ANY adjustments in his sets? I'll tell you why...because Tiesto is afraid to be yelled at when he doesn't spin the tunes we all know already..ha! whatever d00d |

i do agree that tiesto does tend to play the same sets a lot... a good set mind you... but its not like he doesnt get millions of prerelease records
he should take an example from pvd... who not only spins a bunch of good tracks in his sets... but also mixes it up a lot! :)
and as for tiesto being the king... let him... for pvd will always be the god of trance (at least to me) :) |

Tiesto has been playing same sets since Dutch Dimension... g0d!!!! please. i think he has a playlist done before any of the gigs :p:p hehehe...
about the shopping.. he really needs it. hehe..

| I am saying that you should NOT buy cd's at all and download them all at AUdiogalaxy and then get the cd-cover from cdcovercentral.com haha |

SO WHAT!?! Trance was never meant to be listened to in MONO!! Trance producers go through a load of trouble making their tunes sound great in stereo, where the sound can flow all around you, not so it can be heard like it was coming from a ham radio!! Sure Revolution is well mixed and all, but if I had known before hand that the sound quality was that bad, I wouldn't have bought it!! Therefore, seeing as Magik 7 has many of the same tunes, it is better!!

| Okay so I didnl't have time to READ every single post on this thread I am just responding to what I read in the first post. Basically you have to understand that Revolution was a USA released CD. The Magik series are not pressed for US they are somtimes sold in the US because they are imported. So I suppose the label's thinking was that well make a "Like Magik" CD for the US. Since we collect music on mp3's we get both cd's not realizing that they are not for the same market. Anyways I still don't blame tiesto for this because one CD was under his own label and the other under VIRGIN an american label. Many times these lablel's don't let the DJ's have full control over the track selection. But none the less Tiesto has alsways spun alot of the same tracks in his sets. I personally have just about EVERY teisto set you could have ever downloaded and if you listen to them, the ones that are within a short time period of each other always sound the same. Reguardless, I liked Magik 7 better than Revolution. Just my 2 cents. |
