playback problems(for divx and svcd)

hey guys...
On my old box, i just installed XP. its a PII 300 Mhz with 256 mb ram...and a voodoo3 video card. When I try to play divx or svcds...the picture is incredibly choppy. Anyone have any suggestions? Before I installed XP, it was fine though(when i was running on 98se) I have the regular codecs...so anyone wanna recommend a codec pack?(if thats the problem..)

| Well it might not be the codecs judging by your system specs maybe is your system that has slow down, the problem with xp is that it needs to be run on faster machines because it takes more resources by that I mean CPU power and also memory you can turn off all of the flashy things but I am not sure if it will fix the problem if you think is the codecs you should get the Nimo Codec Pack is the best out there you can get it here I hope this helps :)Nimo Codec Pack |
