the movie is not horrible but it's not impressive. bland, boring many parts, and so inferior compared to the first one. i was dissappointed. angelina jolie on the other hand is really hot in this one. but i'm not buying this one on dvd. i still like the first one alot.
i should've know. the director of twister and speed 2 making the tomb raider sequel. what the hell was wrong with them?????? the movie didn't have much cgi creatures except for the last part. no tombs hardly like the game. and most of the fights were with asian gangs and dumb others.
it' didn't have awesome action sequences like the first. the action sequences were pretty much what you saw in the trailers. she went all triple XXX style.
i feel weird for not liking this movie. i'm really sad that this one didin't do it for me. |

I dunno, I thought the first Tomb Raider was a total waste of money and talent. Angie Jolie is great as Lara Croft, but the story, script, and directing were all just lame. I have yet to see the second, but I can't say I'm in a big hurry considering how bad I thought the first was.
And Jan De Bont directed the first Speed, which was awesome, so you can't knock him too loudly man. |
