| Fruity loops is fine as well is Reason. Fruityloops is also interesting because you can use VST and Directx plugins, and I believe you can't in Reason. These effects and software synthesizers expand your possibilities, but just Fruity (and Reason) is a good start. |

Yeah, I would say Reason or Fruity Loops. There is now some Fruity Loops XXL Studio (or something like that). It might be cool :)
I think U can download demos from Fruity and Reason and try them for free. But U can't save your songs with demos..But at least U can see what kind of programs they are :) |

I Use both these programs:
Reason: Good but what i start to find is that i am running out of ideas to produce sounds and i turn to refills and that they are not much cop either :(. I find it good to wrok out and sample custom drum loops.
FruityLoops: More like a studio now hense the new version "Studio v4.0". Vst support etc...what i have started to use again. Now with full automation thanx to the new feature dashboard and midi cc controlling.
a little info but its all down to personal preferece as i will just keep swapping and changing programs forever :P
hope that helped a lil
