i feel pretty comfortable sharin this, but i know my gf prob wont like it...but can someone point me to a good women's reference page or somethin? or can a female help me out?

here is the deal. my gf had her period bout 3 weeks ago, but for about 1 and a half weeks she has had "spotted bleeding". which accordin to her research is a sign that the pregnancy is at risk. PROBLEM! we are not ready for a baby, we are not married, yada yada. i'm hopin its not a pregnancy thing. i hope shes not. but i know i gotta take her to the hospital or somethin for this. yet anothe problem. she doesnt wanna go to the doctor. i seriousy need help. she has determined that it is probably a miscarriage, but obviously i STILL gotta take her to the doctor. another thing, i know shes scared of is her mom findin out. we CANT let her find out...nor my parents really for that matter.

shes freakin out. i'm freakin out. can anyone enlighten me please?

take her to an OBGYN. did she take one of those home pregnancy tests?

sorry, i can't help you, but have you been having unprotected sex?

when my GF and i started having sex, she went and asked her mom, and now she's on the pill.

if everything clears up, i suggest you do that.

best of luck to ya bro.

-Doctors are NOT allowed to speak about a client with other clients. That includes parents!

-You could get an appointment with another doctor than your regular one.

-There are loads of consulting agencies for women around. These will help you, free or for a small charge

-The internet is just a guideline, only a doctor can find out what's really wrong!!!!

Do as butterfly suggested and buy a home pregancy test. It's $10 and it's 99% accurate or something like that. You simply have to wait for the first week following a missed period i think. Yes and if you couldn't guess, I've had the misfortune of needing to know this info ... but it all ended good :D

first off (as suggested already) your best bet is to take a test and go to the doctor.
second what is her age? and how 'regular' is her cycle? if you are young, sometimes cycles are thrown off and you get it twice in one month. anything can throw it off, be it stress, drug usuage etc.
but your best bet is to see a doctor and well start having safe sex (all the time) after this, b/c you must be worried for a reason. good luck.

Make her take a pregnancy test. Those things are normally very accurate.
When it shows up positive i suggest you start freaking out. Until then, don't. Find out for sure first. Also find out when the last time she had her period was and figure out how regular she is, some girls are very irregular having periods every 3 months or so (i like to call them lucky bitches). Is she on any sort of medication that could provoke bleeding? (You don't know how many provoke that... :( )
Other than that, if the pg test shows up negative and you still want to be sure, go to the doc, take a blood test. That's the only way you'll be 100% sure.
Good luck to you and your girlfriend, i hope you guys get out of this messy situation okay. :)

it may not mean she's pregnant.
Does she have an eating disorder, like anorexia or bulimia? That could really throw her body out of equilibrium.
Any type of undue stress actually.

i used to think being irregular would be cool, but now that i have more sex i think being regular is nice cause it gives less opportunity for a scare.

Go to the doctor. No one will know, and you will know for sure what is going on...

That's true. I was only semi regular and i have to admit i've been scared more than once because of it, then taking the pill and depo for the last 4 yrs luckily made it very easy for me to keep up hehe :D god bless the pill :D
