how about cigarette burns in your nice clothes because smokers (again) weren't paying attention to how they held their cigarette? :( i've had more than a few nice clothes ruined by cigarette burns :( |

if this ever happened to me, i don't know what i would do about it. is there any rules of thumb about this? I wouldn't let it go for sure! |

- Fat girls who don't know how to dress. I'm happy that they are not afraid to show off their skin, but really, it just looks ugly. There are plenty of clothes that will make anybody look beautiful. They should consider wearing those. Same thing goes for guys.
- Whistle blowers
- Bad sound quality
- 2AM last call
- The unwritten law for leaving a tip even for a bottle of beer or water. I have nothing against leaving a tip to a bartender who mixed a drink for me, but leaving 50c to $1 for a bottle of beer(which takes less than 20 seconds to sell) is unacceptable. Having said that, I still leave a tip. It just irritates the hell out of me. What irritates me even more is that bartenders EXPECT a tip. They are forgetting that tip is something that should be given for good service.
- Line ups in the washrooms. Ginos that take 5-10 minutes to fix every single piece of hair on their heads. |

I do agree with the dirty washrooms, expensive drinks, clubs that are way too packed, the sweaty buffed up guys with no shirts on thinking they own the place, definately the girls who doll themselves up and end up not dancing because their make up might get ruined.
And to add: the really long lines ups for the girls washroom (you end up missing all the good stuff going on waiting for 30 minutes in the line just to relieve yourself):whip: :whip: :whip: and the guys that just grab you out of nowhere, thinking that is the best way to come onto a girl (it gets really annoying and uncomfortable expecially for girls that already have boyfriends) |

i've counted about 8 shirts that've been ruined by cigarette burns at clubs, 1 jacket, 1 skirt, and 2 pairs of pants (oh and my leg got burned in the process both times). I flipped (for the trousers). But for the shirts i only found out when i got back home :( too late to do anything about it :( |

Things i hate about clubs :)
*GINOS n' GINA's who look like porn stars hahaha (they think they look hot but really they look fake)
*Sweaty guys that rub up against you and you get all their sweat on your arm EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWw
*Rude girls
*bathroom line ups and nasty washrooms... damn i thought girls were supposed to be clean lol
*security guys hitting on you lol (at wemf a security guard asked me when i was gonna wear my friends shirt.. her shirt said *sex instructor, free lessons.*
*Guys that grab your ass when your not looking... wtf is up with that...
*girls that think you're a les hehe I don't really care about this one but it's kinda funny...
*when the ceiling is dripping nasty sweat.. yuck..
*packed clubs
*long line-ups
*rude bouncers (guv) that think they are so cool...
*all the smoke.. |

Nice lists guys... I agree with a lot of things here! Some of it is stuff you probably just have to live with, but among the things that really kill the mood for me (in order of priority) are:
1. Smoke, smoke, smoke. Even the Guvernment's ventilation leaves something to be desired, and pretty much all the other clubs in TO are just f*ckin' brutal with that. I can't dance if I can't breathe! This also includes A/C problems.
2. People who push, but also people who continue stand in my way after they've seen me and know that I'm trying to get by.
3. Whistle blowers - but particularly, the ones who can't even do it to the beat and refuse to stop when they've been asked politely by several people.
4. Unfriendly people who just stand around and respond to greetings with lines such as: "Do I know you?", "I have a boyfriend" (girls), and "Out of my way", "What the do you want?" (guys).
5. Cigarette burns (haven't had them on clothes, fortunately, just arms).
6. Price of alcohol and the expected tip (good observation Durafei). The custom of tipping at a bar does not even exist in many European countries.
7. People who leave the bathroom without washing their hands after they have clearly pissed all over them. I'm sorry, but that's just the nastiest thing ever.
8. Overcrowding and lack of diversity (sausage fests, thug parties, Asian Invasions, etc.)
9. Coat check lineups.
10. Partyprincess.
Some things that I don't think are so bothersome:
- People who use a lot of room to dance (not so bad if the club isn't overcrowded, and far less annoying than the people who just stand around).
- People asking who's on (a lot of times, especially in the Guvernment, how could anyone possibly tell unless they know the set times!?)
- Dealers/druggies (deal with it, why do you care? Especially the ones that ask for E, it's fun to laugh at their stupidity)
- "Blind" bartenders (never had a major problem, squeaky wheel gets the grease...)
- Bouncers (never had big problems) |
