I think these guys definitely have talent, but they have ways to go. Their productions sound a bit raw and chaotic. That being said, I salute the emergence of Russian trance producers and DJ's. Ura, tak derzhat'! :D
By the way, the MC from the set was a complete t00l. He didn't know who Tiesto was! :) |
I think it was a joke.. I'm pretty sure he knew who Tiesto was... |

Oh man.. I'll never forget how I went to a night club here in Canada for the very first time about 5 years ago. It was a Russian night, I was drunk for probably 2nd or 3rd time in my life and they played "Ruki Vverh - Kroshka Moya". We were all dancing like crazy with Russian flags. It was lots of fun !
It doesn't matter how much those Russian pop/dance bands suck, we all have to admit that at one point or another we all had good times dancing to those tunes.. Isn't that the point? |

Hey! I got Triton Pro, Virus KC, JP-8080, Supernova II, XP60, and 2 JD-800's... (no joke)...
I'm yet to squeeze something decent sounding... you think I could buy some talent on e-bay or smth??? ;)
Russian trance has a way to go, tho...
Arrival project - Popsa... DJ Fonar'...eh... PPK -bland... infuntheria??? Ok, there I think I can write better stuff then them...
, kick off one of Korg drumpatches, twist the knobs and you got your basic track...
There are many tallented trance musicians out in RU but you have to dig deep to find it,as they do not enjoy the same promotion as their international counterparts do.

Btw, Demo's producer is non other that the main guy from Arrival (I forget his name). You call them pop, but they do have a whole bunch of AMAZING tunes that are really high quality. |
