| I got a bunch of converting progs but none seem to work for this conversion. Someone told me that certain wma's can be blocked so that converting is not possible, is this true? can i get around this prob? can i burn this wma file somehow? |

wma's have protection in them meaning you cant convert ot mp3 easily using software (it could be done with a older version of winamp and a mp3out pluggin, but microsoft requested that this be stoped)
there are workarounds as theres a program that lets you messaround with your line in's etc (used when recording streams etc) but i cant remember the name of the software |

I was looking for something like this just this past weeekend,
I found that Advanced WMA Workshop 1.81 worked pretty good, the convertion result was pretty good comparing rm to mp3, so I was pretty happy.
Now I also was recommended CDex but couldn't make it work, so went back to AWK.
good luck |
