| well, this is what i get for not planning! i decided to meet my super-flaky friend in london before i went to amsterdam because she is here for the summer and i can't locate her. she gave me the wrong phone number or wrong extension or something, so all i can do i haul my luggage around this city and check my email, hoping she writes me back. suggestions of things to do to kill time (besides TA, obviously)? |

Check out Camden Town. Its a cool place, lots of nice stores. Ask people where Camden Market is. To get there go on the Underground on the Nothern Line (black one) and get off at the stop. Also check out the shopping districts (Oxford Circus, Bond Street etc) Go around Picadilly circus, that is a nice place. Record stores, er, try Blackmarket records in Soho. Thats all i can think of for now :toothless
oh yeah, also go to covent garden. Thats got a cyberdog store, just like in Camden :D |

| yes, go to Camden. If you get hungry you can get food from the market and sit under the canopies. genius |

| I did my first time in London like a tourist last year and spent like 6 hrs on and around Oxford Street. Fun, but so bloody expensive!!! Sorry to hear your unfortunate luck... you sure you are dialing her number correctly?? |

Don't worry, London isn't expensive. thats unless you go to the posh end of town. Theres plenty of cool places that don't charge ridiculously high prices |
