Virus!!!!

ok guys me again quick question. I have a virus called "log.txt" I cannot quarantine the file cuz my computer freezes. Anytime i try to delete or wipe this file my computer crashes. I'm totally out of ideas and any input ANY at all will be appreciated.

try it in dos
when computer boots put on f8 (after bios screen)
then if you don't know hot to use DOS:
1. is the file on c:\ or something else like d:\ if it's on c:\ goto step 2 if it's on something else just type in 'd:' without the ''
2. is it in the root of the station goto step 3 other wise use 'cd' to go the directory (c:\my documents\ would be: cd mydocu~1 (first six letters and a ~# (# is the ammount of the directorys with the same 6 letters)))
3. del log.txt |

Just finished trying this and I believe it has frozen my Dos program

You have a virus as well?
damn, mate it has to be an epidemic.
I just formatted my pc yesterday because a virus had infected several .exe files and nothing would run.
I backed-Up some of my files, but forgot to add about 400Mb of livesets and singles:whip: :whip: Some of the programms that I kept a copy of, won't work:( I'm now downloading everything again:sadgreen: |

had that coupler of days ago, just wanted to install windows again because it was slow it ended six hours later with an empty harddisc:( |
