On Thursday afternoon I'm heading down to Amsterdam and Dance Valley, and I've never been to an outdoor festival before...

Is there anything particular that I should be thinking of? What clothes to bring, in case of ty weather and so on...

Anything that comes up in your mind, just shoot...

Thanks in advance

depending on weather, u might wanna bring a change of clothes with you. another pair of trousers, socks and shoes would help especially if it rains!

Bring lots of money, u never know when you may run out.

:)

Last years dancevalley had some poor weather, and my white cyber trousers and trainers were caked in mud, and it was quite amusing trudging into the Amsterdam Marriott looking like we were. :stongue:

Weather forecasts are looking good for this year's DV, but indeed, a set of extra clothes is a good idea.. You might want to keep them in a locker in Amsterdam Central Station (not sure if the locker room there is open all night, could be closed from 23.00 till 7.00 or so), or a locker at the Dance Valley site (dunno how many there are, if you want one you better come early or have someone there early to get a locker for you..)..

Yeah I guess so...
I will never in my life bring more money than I need...When we were down in Amsterdam for Sensation Black I spended €500 in three days on absolutely nothing...of course the hotel costed 120, and about 50-60 for food, but where's the other €300? :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

There aren't by any chance lockers or somethings like that where you can put a bag with extra clothes?

We haven't decided if we're gonna take the bus/train or if we'll go there by car...I think we all want to take the liberty of drinking a beer or twelve as well...If they won't let us outside the gates to go to the car for a change then I see no reason going there any other ways but train/bus...

Wow, was I irresponsible?

Last year at GKGG, all I brought was my camera and Marlboros hahaha... no extra clothes, no food except for gum and a couple jolly ranchers and too too much money, enough for a t-shirt, food and a few rides hahaha!!

Have lotsa fun at DV and be prepared for anything!
