msn messenger problem

ahoy :P
i want to change my messenger login to a non micro$oft email, as in [email protected]
the thing is i have no idea how to do it :S
ive tried putting it in the communications service box, but it just tells me it cant connect to the communications service :S
anyonw know what to do? |

| wtf? Its MicroSoftNetwork messenger service you twonk, you cant connect to it WITHOUT an MS passport account (hotmail/msn). |
