Hi!

I've just finished a new trance track! Very melodical and with female vocals. I think it is pretty creative and would like some feedback regarding that. If you don't have any opinions about that, I would appreciate if you simply told me how/if you like this track...

You can check it out at:

Trance of Life (song page)

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Regards,
Leif Erik.

good track! you always seem to create fantastic melodies, again this time! vocals are nice, but not as good as memories of tomorrow.. the production itself is good, the only thing that bothers me a little is the way the bassline comes in at the 2:50 mark, pretty strange in my opinion.. overall a lovely track, but i must admit i'm looking more forward to hearing the finished version of the track you posted a sample of about a month ago!

Really nice track mate, production is fine, the only comment i would make is that the vocals could sit in the mix a little better.

I've not done that much work with vocals so i could be way off here  but like i said thats just opinion.

Good job;)

Wow!

Well, let me start off by saying that I'm a big fan of this style and I really like your track. I would love to remix this.

As I was listening to the track and the vocals I was really taken on a journey. In fact for a few moments I thought I was listening to a pro commercial hit by someone like Clever & Smart or DJ Apollo.

Unfortunately, several amateurish things crept up which took back me to earth. First, you introduce the main theme way too soon. Most producers will have a 1-note bassline and developing drum patterns for the first couple of minutes. Next, the sections just go one after another without any interesting pauses and breaks. Kinda hard to explain but that's the best way to put it. Maybe add more 'anticipatory silences' here and there, a big drumroll, an extended cascade that will bring it all down in a moment of frenzy. Create a climax! Chop up those vocals for one of the sections to spice things up.

So in summary, this is a good track with a not-so-good structure. But like I said, I'm ready to remix it if you wish.
