great set...very trancey, and has that slower more melodic, almost progressive(but not) feel of alot of songs and sets these days.
Mixing was spot on as well...some mixes were above average at the best, but I understand because I also understand taht those songs are hard to mix out of.
One thing I gotta say though, is the tempo and pace of the set...great energy, but 5 out of 9 songs to build and pace the set is kinda too much...if it were an unbelievably Digweed like tracklist, then thats no problem, but because these are songs have been tried and tested by other DJs, you can't help but get kinda bored at the flow of one trakc that you've heard a few times after another track that you've heard even more times...
On that point, track selection...even though I said that it could get boring, I personally would enjoy this set if I wanted to put on a good solid quality mix to listen to in the car or whatever. Tracks went together solidly, barely any key clashing, and Nexus Asia was an awesome selection to turn it up...never heard the song cuz I didn't like it at first, but after the way you switched gears in your mix with this, I'm gonna go look for it now.
I've always enjoyed your mixes, and this one is no exception. I'm sure many tranceaddicts will find this mix enjoyable to listen to. Peace.

Thanks for the in depth review dJohn! This was exactly the type of feedback I wanted, where I can learn to improve from. Keep in mind though that this set is over a month old, and at the time, these songs weren't so much 'tried and tested' as they are now.

Like I care. Your mix is dope as , and that's all that matters. I'm still trying to get my lazy ass spin, record, master and distribute my demo, and more than half the tracks on it are "old"...don't matter though, track selection is good and conveys my style almost perfectly...
Keep it up!
