Question about the behringer vmx 300

whats up everyone
i'm still kinda new the the board and the dj scene. i have the behringer vmx 300. my question is when i have the crossfader all the way to the left and the upfader all the way up i just hear channel 1, but when i put the crossfader all the way to the right i hear channel 2 and i still hear channel 1 through the speakers. i tryed adjusting the curve but that didnt fix it. is there something wrong with my mixer and how can i fix it?? thankz

channel 1 is your microphone input channel or also can be used for normal input, but channel 1 is not controlled by the crossfader. The crossfader only fades between channels 2 and 3.
Change where your left side input is from channel 1 to channel 2, assuming that your right side input is going to the channel 3 input at the back.
to control the volume on the channel 1 input, you can use the volume fader, or the "talk level" knob, while the talk button is on (i think on is right).
my setup is just fine like so...
--right side CD-player goes into the channel 3 line-in
--left side CD-player goes into the channel 2 line-in
.... both at the back and switched onboard to "line", not phono
...of course if you're using TTs then switch to phono.

| If all you have is a pair of turnables, leave the channel one alone, just use channel 2 and 3 ! |
