ROADTRIP!
PVD will be at Avalon, in Boston, Fri Aug 10th! Avalon closes at 2am..that blows. I figure he'll play a 3 or 4 hour set. :) :) :) |

Caroline there are rumours PVD will play in NYC in August. No date has been announced. The boston gig is on his schedule on his site. Everyone I know is driving to Boston.

The following is the email I received from Jens Hock from PvD's camp. I have emailed her a bunch of times in the past few months. Originally she had written, 3-4 weeks ago, that PvD was planning to come to NYC in mid-August. Then the Chicago gig was posted on his website for Thurs, Aug 9th and nothing had been posted for Fri Aug 10th so I figured that is probably the date (since he is already in the U.S.) he is working on for NYC. However then a couple of weeks ago the PvD gig in Boston was posted for Aug 10th on his website. He was already scheduled for England Aug 11th so I emailed Jens again last week to see what PvD was planning for NYC since it was apparent he wasnt stopping in NYC on his short mid-Aug tour of the U.S. This is the response I got:
