| My g/f is my best friend. I talk to her about everything, even things to do with me and her and my doubts, and it makes my relationship stronger. Women can never replace a friend tho, like my friend mark, no one can replace him, i can sit there with him alld ay watching tv and drinking beer, my g/f would get bored of that :p |

I think it's crucial for your gf to be your best friend in a relationship.
If you aren't then it could lead to problems, maybe the gf thinks that you can't talk about everything and she thinks that's a reason strong enough to split up. Maybe you as a guy feels that she can't talk to you about things that happens in her life, so you as the guy feel left out of the loop.
