heya baron...first of all if you keep that atitude all the time youre gonna learn fast and get good pretty quick (there's nothing as good as a big confidence in yourself when producing....always remember that! :D)
well anyway you might wanna checko out www.reasonstation.net for some basic tutorials. Also check out the reason manual, there you can read about how the basic interface works and how each synth and module works :)
but don't just get stuck at reading...try to learn it by yourself....selflearning is the best teacher by far! :) (I'm 100% selfteached myself so I know) :D |

| As a Reason newbie myself, my best piece of advise is to just get stuck in. It's difficult to start off with, but you will gradually learn more and more simply though experimenting. I'm still learning lots now, and I've been using Reason for almost 3 months... |

these tutorials are absolutley dire. im more confused now than when i started :( is there anything else thats been put together a little more constructively. these tutorials hav been designed assuming that the user already has a very good understanding of the program which is just dumb coz thats not what a beginners guide is all about  |

| I guess as a newbie, the best thing to do is sit infront of it for hours & hours, and days and days, pissing around with the "buttons" untill you kind of figure what button does what. Then your programming will becomne much better for sure, then offcourse your idea's will contribute to which directions you take, aswell as helping how fast you learn. |

| What you all need if you are wanting to have a breakthrough with Reason is the "Producing Music With Reason" tutorial CD which you can pick up for 50 bucks. Well worth every penny. I had gone through the manual and learned a great deal, but after going through this tutorial CD, so many things FINALLY made sense. It was only then that I started to make things that sounded good and I was able to finish my first track. I'm addicted now and I'm working feverishly on my 2nd track. I don't think any of this would have happened without that CD. So go and get it today. |
