| Read it briefly from my mates magazine, all I can remember is that they it 6/10. |

| this album looks to better than his first with using the talents of jan johnston , local hip hop artist Tomekk and samples of himself . P.V.D described each track to have a different sound and meaning basing his whole album on events that have happened. one track called "never forget" is infleuced by ,when P.V.D watched schindlers lists. |

| yes there is a mix cd by paul van dyk on the last mixmag. the review is about his album reflections and where the influence from each song came from. interesting read but not a very big article. |

alright here is the article, forgive any spelling mistakes since it is late and I dont care.
Pigs wizzed overhead when we heard PCD sing on his new LP, "Reflections". Here is his track-by-track guide.
1) Like a Friend "when i toured india, I was devastated by the poverty I saw. This isn't preaching.It's just asking people to think."
2) Benaventura "I made music for a Mexican movie called La Mano del Zurdo, and a lot of the action happens in a village called Bnevaentura. It's a delicate movie that shows the psychological problems that a kid goes through."
3) Connected "the music to[my] motorola ad the director Nick Owen is one of the most talented around. Look out forthe Marco V mix"
4) Nothign but you "I got this pice of music that wasn;t quite right for my taste but featured this amazing intense vocal sample. So i took it and make a song for myself. The reaction i ogt was huge. The lyrics are Norwegian."
5) Spellbound "this is one for the tracks I did with Jan Johnston, Jan and I are working quite closely together and I'm going to be producing her solo album after I've finnished my own," says paul.
6) thats life"this is a track with my vocal its about those days where you get up in the morning and you feel miserable."
7) home "Jan came out with this amazin lyric: 'that's why im so lonley in hte crowd and all i think about is coming home to you'"
8) Animacion "anothertrack fromBueraventura. It's banging and features thsi weird kind of monk chorus in hte background"
9)Avid City "there's an scid line in tehre so I called it 'acid city' then a guy inmy office made a typing mistake v is right next to c on the keyboard -so it became 'avid city'
10) Crush(collaboration with SEcond Sun) "it's about a stalker. Peoplealways think it's from personal experience but its not"
11) Untitled (collaboration with DJ tomekk) "Tommekk is the biggest hip-hop producer in Germany. ITs not just weird German . its really cool very internationl hip hop."
12) Never Forget "when i first saw schingler'slist i was really upset. It's slow and hip-hoppy and quite melancholy, but it has a hint of hop onit. It'll probably be the last track on the album"
Mixmag Verdict: Reflections PVD second album that's been two years in the making may not reinvent trance, but ther are big singles here that diehards will kill for. 6/10
