And you say sharon has minimized terror..meanwhile the Intifada started with him and his disrespect for muslims at the Temple mount. One of my best friends in jewish... shes going to ISrael in a week. I have had jewish friends in University as well...

See in Canada, there are many races, so its kinda hard to target one group. You on the other hand live in a society that is there to act as a jewish nation, intent on keeping the hebrew culture alive with the boundaaries of Israel....
Even some of my Israeli friends have told me the racist that has gone up in that place... how arabs are discriminated and treated like scum.
Israel isnt perfect, in fact its far beyond that. |

first of all the intifada wasent started by sharon the problem was always there and the al akza intifada bursted under ehod barak rule who offered the palastinians 97 precent of the terretories including land swammping
if you want to be a prime minister in israel you should have some militery past what i think is good becuse you need a leader and like ive said sharon choose the best soulotion to reduce terror and its a fact that he has done it
but like ive said i dont agree with sharon when it comes to settlers
about his coming to Temple mount dont you think he can visit any place in the country that he is ruling?
about bush i understand that for you it seems like a waste but for me its good becuse finally i dont have to read in the paper every year about his desire to attack israel and kill every jaw in israel

this is a damned 9 page flame war...that's why i hate it when the political discussions in this forum have to touch base on israeli/mid east 'relations'.
actually, they always touch base on that topic, look, it's damned ugly for both sides and regardless of thesituation no one side will be entirely appeased. they always fight and they'll always spill blood. so off and look at it this way...blood is blood, the more you spill the more people cry out in anguish. the more people cry out in anguish the more they suffer. the more they suffer the more reason to compromise; but we all know that won't happen because politics is unreasonable and never fair or humane. |
