booth output on a mixer. how does it acually work?

| hi. im soon getting a behringer djx700 (when the bloody thing acually gets released :whip: ). i notised that it has a booth output. i was just wondering how you set it up? i know how the master works etc cus of my current mixer. but with the booth do you have to plug it into a seperate amp? or does it go from the mixer stright to the booth speakers? or does it go through the same mixer as the master goes into? i havent got a clue. help please people! thanks in advance :) |

You will need to have a seperate amp & speakers to use the booth output correctly (or powered speakers).
I have a Denon mixer and use it like that, works fine for monitoring. |

| thanks for the reply :) i got a spare amp knocking about as well. quality. now i need to find a pair of speakers to use as booth speekers. any donations would be greatfully accepted ;) |
