To be fair, no-one really gives a about some unknown Djs y chart. Thats why you have got hardly any replies. I am pretty sure you dont want to know what my chart would be. If everyone posted crap like this then this place would be a mess pretty fast.
I am not sure why you didnt post this in either your local forum as its obvious you are trying to promote yourself. Or you could have even posted this in one of the numerous weekly top ten threads we alreay have.
Dont get me wrong I dont dislike you or anything I just see this as a bit of spam which really belong in amatuer DJs or local forums.

They did more than one. Blunted on Reality was released in 94 from which Vocab got some decent airplay. The Score was released two years later.

Already did this, have posted it all my local forums. Also, as said previously, this is a chart to promote mainly the tracks. Many of the artists I featured are friends of mine, who I support 110%.

A bit of spam? I dont see you making rude comments of mockery to any of the other DJs who chart on this board, and in this particular subsection of the forum. Also, last time I checked, this forum is called Music Discussion. My chart is also meant to provoke discussion of the music. For example, some people are talking about The Fugees album I charted. This is exactly what I wanted.
Honestly, you really need to only speak for yourself. I respect your right to freedom of speech and your right to read what you want to read. With that said, if you seriously have a problem with my charts, just dont look. I didnt make some misleading subject saying "Free Porn Inside." I put the honest truth of you would see, and yet you come and mock me for it.
Ive been a TA for many years, and am good friends with a few of the moderators (HI JAY, HI ARTURO!!). Until they move my thread or delete it, I will continue to post what I want to post.
And lets drop it right there. I also do not dislike you. I just think you are one of handful of people that I come across with every chart I post, who have a misconception about me. If you want to PM me in regards to concerns, please do so. But im sure people would rather read something positive like music, rather than a thread full of drama.

my how the forums are dwindling down with stupid people. this is supposed to be music discussion, not fire starting mother******s who parade around in every thread they dont like and post negative . what the hell is wrong wiht you people? i dont want to point any fingers ::ahem::some ukta's (not all)::ahem::, but most of you guys just want to start trouble. i know it is the internet and no need to get mad over , but come on, you have to respect other people in here. its not a in zoo. lots of you guys promote yourselves, oh i am spinning on this radio and what not, tranceairwaves, whatever (just an example). does anyone come in your thread flaming and bad mouthing you. no, they dont. someone can come in say you are spamming promoting yourself, what the is wrong with promoting yourself. isnt that how you get noticed and get better gigs? no offence toward john obir, but recently in the cd reviews, he posted a thread about "sasha - cloud cuckoo (luke chable remix)" when there was already a few other threads about it in the previous months. now if that was someone new, the responses would be "use the in search button" like that. but (take no offence too john if you read this), oh ya, thats been out for a while, very good track.
does anyone understand the point i am trying to make? if you dont, then it is treat everyone equally. and i dont mean flame everyone. treat everyone with respect. you wonder why people just stop posting and leave this place. because there is no respect in here. take it as you will, if i had mod powers here, a lot of the jerks around here would be gone already, but i dont, so all i can do is post aobut it.
im just asking, dont go into threads just to start trouble. its bull |

And lastly, the reason I note my gigs is merely to make a note to anyone browsing this forum from the San Francisco area, to come out and say hi and check out the places I spin at if my chart reflects the music they like. I note that I write for a magazine, so people like you who dont know the music industry very well, dont assume that I am merely downloading these tracks and putting them in my chart. Everything was either paid for by me, or sent to me on CDR or white label.
I hope this clears your misconceptions up.

I know, but I just wanted to clarify that since Ive been accused in the past. Some people just dont understand how "non-headliners" can get very upfront tracks. As you can see in my signature, I write for 2 magazines. So im sent a lot of stuff.

Also.
When there are threads in the Music Discussion about "im spining on tranceairwaves now" and ect we give you all respect. Those should easily be in the Amatuer Dj Promotion right? All the top 5, top whatever threads, maybe we should start being more strict on that and start moving them all.
Not cool. Give respect and dont have an ego.
