| I keep it in the cupboard - don't want ice cold ketchup on my lovely warm food. Besides which I get through the stuff so fast it doesn't have time to go off :tongue2 |

i just counted up the numbers from the number of people mentioned in posts. so, there's one vote for fridge from england cause Incantation_UK's friend kept the ketchup in the fridge. i keep mine in the fridge, too. i like my ketchup cold. but, room temp will suffice if i'm at mcdonald's.
interesting ketchup story;
when i studied in austria, my friends and i would sometime eat at the university's cafeteria. we would always get the giant wienerschnitzel with french fries, but we would always have to pay extra for ketchup. and it wasn't even ketchup, it was catsup. definitely not heinz 57. and it cost like 30 cents a packet. it pissed me off so much that one time i brought my own bottle of heinz with me. it was a stroke of genius. in fact, i was thinking of selling heinz ketchup for a cheaper price than they charged. but, alas, i realized my dreams of getting rich by scheming unsuspecting austrians were futile when i realized that four of us had gone through a half a bottle of a decent sized bottle. still, that was the best tasting wienerschnitzel and french fries ever. i'm still loving my ketchup to this day. hehe. |

what they keep it on the cupboard in Europe? hehe...they did in Croatia, when i went back home. thought that was super odd.
