**Sorry to all the Germans I am about to offend**

Germany is so boring. I've been to Munich plenty of times, same with Frankfurt, and it's just so boring there...unless it's Oktoberfest...hehehe...:D

Right ... CNN made up the data 3 years ago in anticipation of bad blood ... and what better way to attack Germany than to make fun of their education system?

Well here's a bbc article:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/...ion/3027215.stm

but then again the brits are our lackeys so I suppose we can't trust that source either.

Are you going to deny that the reporting CNN does is extremely biased and pushes an agenda? I never said that any of this wasn't true I simply said that I dont trust CNN as a source. The BBC on the other hand is excellent, much bettet then most news sources.

Every news source is biased with the amount of information it conveys and what topics it presents. There is only 24 hours in the day, however, Extremely biased? I'm going to say no.

But leading back to the story at hand, you still haven't proved your point that the CNN article is misleading with respect to the condition of the German education system. If you're going to point out bias or misinformation on CNN's part please identify the faults of the article.

Actually I find that CNN is generally one of the better news providers out there. It's second to the BBC, granted, but in terms of coverage and impartiality there aren't too many better....

Just check out Melech's honest reporting ... from that perspective EVERY news organization EVERYWHERE has bias coming out of their ears. Except for the Jerusalem post maybe :D .

At any rate yes cnn can overly focus on domestic american news issues because duh, it's an american news agency. If CBC were broadcast around the world a lot of people would think it had too much of a canadian focus.

The issue isnt that CNN focuses on domestic issues. Its that it reports everything in a quite biased way. I would even say some things Ive seen on CNN are border line propaganda. And Im going to repeat myself one more time. I never said that the CNN article was wrong or misleading, I just said that I dont trust its accuracy or impartiality on the basis its from CNN.

Ok well post a CNN article and point out the overwhelmingly obvious bias. Then illustrate the consistency of this bias in ALL CNN articles such that it can be characterized as border line propoganda.
