Robert Smith actually worked with Blank and Jones on this!? damn, could this be RS finally getting into trance? He would produce trance 10 times better than any trance producer today, unreal talent.

Yep as you can see on the pics, video, interviews on this site:

http://www.blankandjones.info/aforest

But he said also that this was a one time project into dance / trance music, except this gets a world wide No. 1 he said, then he wanna make a follow up! :D

Just heard the Ron Van Den Beuken Remix, and I have to say, it looked promising, but when the main tune kicked in, it's just a rehash of Timeless. I'm a bit disappointed now.

:(

But is that not what the people / producers want?

If you go to a producer you like from a song and wanna have a remix from him I think you expect that he will make a remix for your song in the style of the song you really liked from him. I mean thats why you pay him and not because you wanna have a Ron van den Beuken chill out mix!

I know what you mean, but if he had recreated the tune from 'A Forest' in the same style as 'Timeless', that would've been much better. Instead it just kinda starts off like 'A Forest', then the tune is practically the same as 'Timeless'. There doesn't seem to be much point in doing that, other than to have your name on another song.

:)

WTF? this is practically the same as 'timeless'?

so ,its awesome anywayz and in my opinion.better than timeless

this is in quality bangin trance.

Yea, it is totally just like a slight edit of Timeless.

Its not much at all related to A Forest.

Blank and Jones - A Forest (Exor Remix)

Now that's what you call a remix. Awesome stuff. It's got a great start to it, it reminded me of

Project Medusa vs Exor - Moonshine (Exor Mix Part 2)

Kicks the ass of the Ron Van Den Beuken Remix.

:)
Romain
agreed! the Exor remix is great; good ambient intro, nice kick, and awesome melody. + the vocals are away, think it's better for my ears - sorry Robert fans.
