The russians are puppets for the americans. The entire cold war was an american ploy to propogate fear throughout the entire world in order to better control and influence governments.
The problem with conspiracy theories is that one can make inferences from ANYTHING to come up with virtually any conclusion. As such, despite an entire mountain of information that leads one to the proper conclusion, there will always be those who take one dubious, conspicuous fact out of the million and use that to debunk the proper conclusion ... and ironically enough they fail to realize that the evidence against their conspiracy theory is a million times more damning than the theory they "debunked". |

hEH, I am not a teacher and I dont want to be one, so I have only couple more things to say about Moon Landing (many people are skeptical and I dont want to waste any more time on this thread): Lets say Americans did land on the Moon. WHY DONT WE SEND MORE PEOPLE TO THE MOON TO COLLECT DATA? AND DO YOU GUYS KNOW THAT OUTSIDE OF THE EARTH'S OZONE LAYER THERE IS STRONG LAYERS OF RADIATION THAT ARE SO POWERFUL, THAT NO SUIT ON EARTH CAN PROTECT US AGAINST IT WHEN YOU COME IN CONTACT WITH IT, MORE POWERFUL THAN NUCLEAR RADIATION. AND IF THEY DID HAVE THOSE "SUPERSUITS", HOW COME THEY WERENT USED IN SEVERAL WELL-KNOWN DISASTERS SINCE 1969? Remember, the astronauts came back in full health ... AND HOW COME THEY HAVENT EVEN TALKED ABOUT SENDING PEOPLE IN OUTER SPACE YET FOR OTHER SPACE MISSIONS OTHER THAN I.S.S.? By that time Soviets already launched the first satellite into space, had the first man AND WOMAN walk in space, etc. etc. So Americans wanted to beat the Soviets. AND IN THE VIEW OF THE ENTIRE WORLD, THEY DID. OR DID THEY? :disbelief There's just too much to talk about here, too much information, but the point is - DO SOME RESEARCH!!!!

Outside of the ozone layer requiring "super suits"?
This sounded fishy so I did a little "research" as you told everyone to:
The ozone layer is in the mesosphere which is the layer of the atmosphere from about 30km - about 90 km above sea level.
The first spacewalk was completed by cosmonaut Alexei Leonov on 18 March 1965. The Voshkod 2 spacecraft on which Leonov was flying was put into a 169-473km orbit before and during his EVA.
So the "super suit" idea is clearly false...because the Soviets made a suit that worked very well in an environment at least 70km above the ozone layer.
Onto one other "dissection" of your post...."so many Apollo missions failed"

There were only 2 "failures" in the Apollo program: The Apollo 1 fire in which 3 astronauts died in a test engine firing (it was not even a launch) and Apollo 13 in which the crew were not able to land on the moon but did return safely to the Earth.
I don't think 2 can be called "so many" do you?

Ok, you're forgetting that russians and the rest of the world did know where the launch took place and the approximate trajectory of the spacecraft. Even more, near the end of the journey, the spacecraft was right between the earth and the moon, so it wasn't so hard to pinpoint its location. And the thing about space suits is pretty rediculous, because the ISS astronaouts, and all the others that went out on spacewalks have been outside of their spacecraft for hundreds of hours and they're still alive.
And the end to the spacefaring missions of such magnitude as the appolo program is caused by the lack of competition. A lack of competition which will hopefully not last for much longer, since EU and China might get involved in the race very soon. |

If one day this topic will arise again on a global scale, please think of me ... Cause I got other phreaky topics to talk about that can even raise goosebumps (aliens/area 51/ future prophecies et.c etc.) so I'll shut my mouth and keep it to myself. The reason why I have become so conscious of all this is that I knew 9-11 was coming after a certain Mr. Bush post-presidential-victory-speech-line that made me convinced the U.S. was in for a huge terrorist attack.
