I'm having a bit of trouble with some .avi files on my comp.
I have some big avi files that i cant delete because it says that another person/program is using this file but nothing else is running on the comp at the time?? I know this could be a backround application but i cant think what it could be?
Also some of my files wont play and just shut down whatever program i'm trying to play it with(divx, realone etc)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated :) :) :) |

| This happens to me time to time and I'm almost always able to delete the files using dos. If that doesn't work boot your computer in safe mode, or even just boot off a floppy and go straight to dos, and try the same method. Good Luck |

what you gotta do.. hoping your on XP.
ctrl alt delete, close explorer.exe then click in windows task manager( the thing that pops up when you ctrl alt del) and do file - new task - browse and delete through there. sure to work! |
