He needs to add hawaii to his major list of places he wants to spin.

i sure hope this isnt like Blyss turned out to be...bunch of cracked out kids passed out on the floor, and PvD looking kinda stoned himself.

when does he not look stoned?

keep in mind, Blyss was done by Audiorise, not the brightest production group... for those who may have complained about his set at that party, it doesnt help when you dont provide him with CD-Js, and it didnt help to have two slower prgressive guys playing before and after him

The only good show I have seen PVD spin in Seattle was when he was at the showbox, for the Politics of Dancing release - incredible. Other out of state shows have been great too. But blyss & the northgate shows were very anti-climatic IMHO. I hope that Freaknight is more organized and PVD can come out swinging and play for a longer time then at northgate!

Showbox was a great show, best set i saw him do until i witnessed his Worldcup 2002 set... the Northgate show was horrible... Matt Osborn should not have been the promoter for that, he let PVD play on a bad sound system and bad tables... that frustrated PVD enough to make him play on CDs only...

as for Freaknight, i can almost guarentee you that his set wont be longer than the Northgate show... how often do you see a DJ go longer than 2 hours at a massive, least in Seattle? since its part of his Reflections release tour, half the songs are probly gonna be from that... the other songs will probly be whatever is current or new at the time for him... lets just be glad that USC was able to land him for Halloween instead of some bigger city... and you know PAMDJS had to have received a lot of bids for him on Halloween...

any idea of how much Freaknight will cost? I will plan to go to this, and hope none of my friends are throwing a party that night - i dont wanna have to choose:D

The only thing possibly keeping me from this show is I may be going to Vegas for Halloween this year - that place goes nuts. But PVD may just keep me local, who knows. Probably wait for the rest of the lineup.
