what should i say at the beginning of my 70 min demo

I just recorded my demo and i want to give it to a few clubs soon, but im not sure what to say at the beginning of the demo...
need some advice.

i was thinking maybe say, "hey this is dj dotan for booking info call 516 ***-****. hope u like it"
but it just seems boring...

| write your contact info on the cd,dont speak on it. |

If you want to have your contact on there (ie phone) then record yourself saying
"my name is blah blah and you can call me at blah blah"
and then filter it a lot, I heard it on an accapella on a vinyl that was so you could send demos to the record label and it was really cool.

I placed mine in the end. Making, two tracks, second track being the information contact track.
I said something like "if you got this far, chances are you liked what you heard... if you really liked what you heard, contact me at blah blah blah..."
if you know what i mean.
Its up to you how you want to do it. Be creative, try to do things a bit different if you can. |
