Ok umm... lemme explain. Post the 10 earliest Trance mp3 tracks you've downloaded that are still in your comp. (as in, the date/year you downloaded them. Get it?)

LOL! He doesn't "use" 3.1, he just emulates it on XP. ;)
For the thread, i can't remember my first mp3. It was so long ago, it might've been some old Ferry Corsten tune from '95 or '96. |

Here's my computer list:
Western Systems 486 Machine/8 MB RAM/Windows 3.11 - Bought second hand in August 1994.
Win 95 Machine with 32 MB RAM - Purchased new at some ridiculous price in April 1997. Sold the old machine for less than a tenth of the cost.
August 2001 - The PC I'm running now. It originally had Windows ME and 240 MB RAM, HD crashed in December 2001. New HD in December, installed Windows 98 SE but the guy who was setting up the network from it to my dads computer insisted on Windows ME. I ran it from January 2002 till March 2003, was very crashy and the HD crashed in March 2002. I installed the only proper OS I could find, which was Win 95 and shortly afterward my HD died completely so I had to get a new one. I've since chosen to go with XP, the 9x/ME series is way too unstable and I'm glad I made the change. |

Windows 2000 is the most stable one i've used so far, but i'm on XP now and i keep getting bluescreens. Think it's my computer that's unstable and not my OS though.

I didn't even know XP or any OS based on the NT kernel had blue screens as I've never seen them, I always thought the BSOD was part of DOS as Win 3.x/9x/ME all run on top of DOS.
Anyway, getting back on track. I can't remember what my first MP3 was to be exact but I'm pretty sure it was a Grace track, perhaps "Skin On Skin". It was during 1996, I used the site www.audiofind.com which was an MP3 search engine which worked in a similar way to the Google image search engine. It was on my old 486 and I had a 28.8 pay by the hour connection :D. |
