I'm suprised Cole and Campbell didnt join Jeffers in the dressing room for lashing out. Players must not let their anger take control.
But I'm suprised with van Nistelrooy missing the penalty. I think thats the first time I've ever seen him miss. Credit must go to Lehmann for the save.
Nonetheless, I WANT THE SEASON TO START ALREADY !! ARRRGH |

Cole and Campbell were lucky to stay on, but let's not forget Man Utd were also filthy. Phill Neville should also have been off. He brought Jeffers down and retaliated, plus he'd already been booked. Also whilst Campbell shouldn't have retaliated, Djemba Djemba looked like he deliberately rammed his studs into his groin, which should at least have been a booking.
Van Nistelrooy missed quite a few chances and generally had a poor game. To be fair it was a blisteringly hot day (the hottest day ever in the UK). It was a good battle though. |
