It's not the worst of ideas because the song really wasn't trancey at all...it was a lot more of a techno/pop/dance feel as I describe it. Guys like BT and Paul Oakenfold today are trying to pull electronica more into the mainstream I guess and just as long as the trance world doesn't become like the horrible mainstream world here in the U.S., I think it will be fine.

I agree with the fact that we want our Trance to be our Trance. But music has to evolve and change to create better and more beautiful music. Brian and Oakie going "commercial" is just a step to the fututre of music. The 'Nsync track has a good beat, but is not trance.
I'm excited that this is happening. I can't wait to see BT win a Music Award over BackStreet Boys. Europe has electronic music winning awards at events for pop music!

Altho not his greatest break track ever, its a good start for introducing that type of music to the US.

hey n sync sells like 20 million record. if even 1 million of them like the pop song and know "some trance producer bT did this" then they might have a listen. they might like bT. if people like trance then they like it. if they dont then oh well. i never knew about trance until 2 years ago. the scene is going to get bigger, no matter whether you like it or not. its not going to turn to , producers will come up with better and more beautiful ways of producing music. i dont see why it could hurt trance music.
