That would be tooo awesome! But you figure if the penthouse would cost us around $2000/night we may have a "little" problem of the "cover fee"... Besides, I don't think that hotels would really enjoy loud "techno" music disturbing other patrons. Although, if we could dig up a place that not only has a penthouse suite but also a pool - now that's what I call bangin' party!
There is a big "BUT" here - we only have maybe 2 weeks before ppl start going back to schools etc to swing it. To top things off, so far it looks like a sausage party... I'm surprised more females are not expressing the interest. Oh well... Anywho - post some more thoughts, if we are gonna do this let's start laying the groundwork for it now. AC does sound like fun...

AC sounds good but some TAs are underage, that might be a lil problem there, would a penthouse fit that many people? would it be a two day thing? or a one nighter? how many people to expect?
pulling off a meet-up in NYC in a rent-free place IMO had to be easier than this. if suppose we get 50 ppl to come = 2000/50 would equal to $40 a piece. more than some clubs. we would need to advertise this thing exstensivly if we would want to pull it off. IMHO i think we just dont have the time.
some other places would be nice though, a beach house would be less to pay for and can be done for the whole weekend if possible. tents can be aranged or brought in by ppl themselves. |

well, apparently there's not much response so far. So, here's a one last try:
Beach house sounds like fun... Tents, etc - definitely doable. Definitely not as expensive as AC penthouse. This would definitely rock. Hell, we could even find a spot where you could throw a party like that on the beach - as long as we find an abandoned piece of beach where we would not bother anyone with our "loud techno music", therby attracting cops.
Let's get some muscle behind the hustle here - does beach party work? we can do it labor day wknd - how about it? |

i'm game but no way in hell is my brokeass paying $50!! why a penthouse in a casino? why not some cheap hotel room?! us TA's can rock it out wherever we go...

| not sure if people gave up on the idea.. but here are two suggestions!! By my parent's by house there is a private beach.. and now that Labor day weekends has past the tourist are basically gone.. and the weather is still good enough for picnicing... drinking.. and dancing.. like we ever stop!! Hell i grill my steaks even in the winter... with the stereo on.. the neighbors I'm sure are like.. OMG what is that crazy girl doing now.. half naked grilling and dancing in the snow?.. back on track - there are options like that around ocean city -- etc. I would even be willing to go there one weekend but our bay house isn't the biggest in the world.. another option is.. In SC our base had a park that was 24hours and you could drink there! It wouldn't be too hard to find out if some local bases here have a park like that.. where we can party and have music till whenever and not get in trouble for drinking!! |

| Ocean City sounds very nice, i asked about renting one of the beach houses and was told that they dont usualy rent for just one weekend and it would amount to about a thousand if they did. the source isnt very reliable but thats the best i could do. |
